Jenelle and Dustin were married about 6 weeks ago and held their ceremony and reception at David Girard Vineyards and The Memory Journalists were their photographers. They had a fun color scheme of green and pink and they made sure to incorporate Jenelle's Hawaiian heritage in the theme. Jenelle and Dustin's goal for their wedding was to have extreme fun!

Queen and King seemed appropriate for a cool ring photo!

Jenelle wore a Lazaro dress. A super cool tidbit is that when Jenelle found her dress at a trunk show, the designer was at the event. Jenelle had a vision for a modification to this dress, and wouldn't you know it - he drew it up and made a one a kind dress for Jenelle!

The girls were getting ready at Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast. It was literally just two miles from David Girard Vineyards and is a fabulous place to get ready and spend the night before.

With our crazy May and June weather I wasn't sure what we'd have on their wedding day. As it turned out we had NO rain, just a mix of sun and clouds. We wanted to be sure to keep the bridesmaids cool...all 13 of them.

Not to be out done, Dustin had 14 groomsmen, and they were all right on time. Really the best bunch of guys. And the cloud cover came out just as we wanted to do some group photos.

Dawn with Natural Flair did the flowers and kept in the Hawaiian theme. Here we have Dustin showing off the bride's bouquet as well as his boutonniere.

The ceremony started right on time. All heads turned as Jenelle walked up the aisle.

Tony, a family friend, provided live music during the ceremony, and Deacon John Ashmore performed the ceremony.

Right after the ceremony, Jenelle and Dustin gave us ample amount of time to take beautiful portraits of the two of them.

The vineyard was a perfect backdrop and Jenelle was super cool about walking wherever we suggested.

One of my favorite series of the day.

More family friends performed at the beginning of the reception with a traditional hula dance, entertaining all the guests.

As you can see, clouds were in and out all day. It made for some fun times on manual mode.

Keeping in the pineapple spirit, the cake was made by Sierra Rizing Bakery.

And party favors were from the Honolulu Cookie Company.

After dinner, right at sunset, we stepped outside for a brief few minutes to capture just a few more photos of Jenelle and Dustin.

The biggest part of the reception was their live band, the Chicago Tribute Authority. Can I just say "Awesome!" I found myself dancing all over the dance floor while taking photographs. These guys really rock the house!

A special family member made it up on stage to sing with the band! Wow - what a voice! Patty you are one lucky woman.

And the best first dance shot ever! I just love the expression on Jenelle's face. Be sure to click on the below image to start our extended sneak peak slideshow!
