As many of you know, I am very into MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). My last job was a passion project with my husband Matt Fisher and Urijah Faber. We built and set up an amazing MMA training facility in Sacramento called Ultimate Fitness the first of its size and kind in the area. After I did all I needed to do for them and after 3 years, I was happy to make the transition out of the industry into a less aggressive industry. I am loving the wedding industry and all the happy energy that comes along with it. I still love MMA and follow it religiously and I still train at Ultimate Fitness. It's a super fun way to stay in shape and learn how to protect yourself should you ever get jumped or find yourself in a bar fight. :o)
What I'm getting at is this weekend one of our very close friends, Joseph Benavidez, went head to head with his own idol, the legendary Miguel Torres. We had a party at Jasmine's so we could all watch it together live on Versus as the fights were in Ohio and none of us could make the trip. We were all pretty nervous and amped up and when the fight began, we were screaming our heads off. When Joseph won, by submission, the place erupted! Security came because one of Jazzy's neighbors had complained about the screaming!

| From Left to Right that's Jasmine (you all know Jasmine from Dynamite Weddings), Tammy, Kristin, Heather and me. Rocco is the little guy who can't keep his eyes open on Heather's lap. Believe it or not, all these pretty girls train at Ultimate Fitness. Just goes to show ya, MMA is not just for tough guys! :o) |
