As I'm working on Sean and Caitlin's wedding album, I wanted to do a small post about Audrey Gardemeyer of Botanica Floral Designs and show off some more of her work. I have worked with Audrey on some of my own shoots and she is always willing to help and always goes above and beyond. We met Audrey a few years ago when she first hit the Sacramento Wedding scene. We've had nothing but great experiences working with Audrey and I am always taken aback by her outstanding work and wonderful creativity!

Check out these awesome boutonnieres she made from vintage post cards. |

| Using live fish as center pieces was a central design theme. |

| I loved the use of the varying heights of glassware. |

| All the little details make such a difference. |

| Rachel Andrews Styling was the make-up artistry studio that The Memory Journalists used on a recent shoot. I wanted to capture a few in action shots for Rachel Andrews so that she could use them to show her styling abilities. |

| I wish I could show you the end result of what Natalie looked like...but that's under wraps for now until our project with Natalie is finished. Let's just say that Rachel did a superb job - and I would recommend Rachel Andrews Styling to any bride looking for a wonderful look on her wedding day. |

Among the fabulous vendors at Wine and Roses Decadent Affair were some wonderful musicians and officiants. I had fun shooting them all and wanted to share their information with you. The gal on the harp, who I didn't catch a picture of was, Harpist Glenna Barr. She played so beautifully!
Outside there was a great classical guitarist, Jesse Hendricks. Jesse didn't miss a beat as I snapped several photos. He was supremely professional and I loved his sound!
The officiants on hand for the event were Pastor Kevin Brown pictured with his lovely wife and Pastor Dan Malloy. It's so great for couples to meet officiants at these shows. |

Carie's BFF Heather had her 30th Birthday Party at Carie and Matt's place last weekend. The party was awesome. Heather really did it up. She rented a dance floor, hung lights, had fabulous food (more on the food later) and even hired a musician. The girls had met Levi Huffman at a previous birthday party at a wine bar in Folsom and Carie has been recommending him to brides ever since. Levi has a very unique and fabulous sound. He plays many instruments and for Heather's party he brought a keyboard, guitar and a flute. You have never heard flute played like this. I would describe his sound as smooth jazz although he may correct me. Levi writes and plays lots of original music but he can also cover just about anything. As soon as he began to play, the party got started and stayed lively all night. Levi is super talented and we would all highly recommend him for any type of event. He's not just a great musician but also a super nice guy whose energy is a wonderful addition to any party.

Tower of Chocolate was the featured chocolate fountain company at Wine and Roses Decadent Affair. I love chocolate fountains. They're gorgeous and they smell fabulous! Carie was tormented by the smell of chocolate during the show. It filled the room and Larry of Tower of Chocolate never had a shortage of visitors at his booth!
