| I'm a bit late in posting these features. But in the most recent issue of Real Wedding Magazine that came out, Tyler and Larissa were featured, as well as The Memory Journalists as being their wedding photographer. They were married in the fall of 2009 at Westminster Church with a reception held at Morgan Creek Country Club. |

| We hope you can see from the photos just how much we loved this wedding. I especially loved Tyler singing! |

Another article that was in the recent Our Wedding Magazine was one on Classic Beauty. We had the pleasure of shooting for this article and it was super fun. The models were gorgeous and the team behind these beautiful looks was outstanding! There were three different wedding day looks all giving ideas of accessories, scents and makeup for that clean, classic look so many brides want on their wedding day.
The team for all these looks consisted of makeup artist Shana Beals of Shana Beals Makeup Artistry & Skin Studio, stylists Elizabeth Marxen and Carly Cornejo and beautiful bouquets by Flourish.
The first scheme was called "Scarlett." This look was spectacular and used Bobbi Brown and Shu Uemura makeup and featured Lancome Magnifique perfume.
The second wedding day look was called "Juliet." This look was rich and vibrant while remaining super classy. The rich makeup tones were achieved by Shana using Bobbi Brown eye shadows and blush along with M.A. C. eye shadow and the featured scent was Alien by Thierry Mugler.
The third look was yet another classic example for wedding day makeup. This look was brought about by using M.A.C. eye shadow and lip pencil along with Bobbi Brown shimmer eye shadow. The perfume that went along with this look was Ange On Demon Le Secret by Givenchy.
We all had a great time and I think the end result is amazing. Pick up a copy of Our Wedding Magazine and check it out! Kudos to the Editor, stylists and fabulous team of experts on this shoot!

I just got my hands on the new Our Wedding Magazine about a week ago and saw the wonderful layouts of two tablescapes that The Memory Journalists had the pleasure of photographing. The two teams were wonderful.
Farmhouse Chic: This team effort was a combination of Lora Ward with A Day To Remember Wedding Consultants and Katie Edwards with Ambience Floral Design. This dynamic duo's beautiful tablescape really hit the mark with the farmhouse chic feel. The colors were amazing, gold and cornflower blue. The details on the place settings was so gorgeous and intricate. Katie's flowers tied in perfectly and the two types of chairs gave it a casual yet classy feel. The hanging lights added just the right touch! The best part - eating the wonderful pies after the shoot was over!!!
Vintage Tag Sale: This team was comprised of Stephanie Cooley with Stephanie J Designs and Martha Andrews with Blooms by Martha - Martha and Stephanie went vintage for their tablescape. Martha said they imagined what a bride from the 50's might have done if she was preparing a picnic for a couple of friends. They used vintage linens and an old ice cooler. They used fresh colors, fresh fruit and even soda pop. Notice the floral wreath placed over the table and the floral arrangement done in a vintage milk glass.
Now that the magazine is out - we'll be sharing more photographs this next month so watch for those blog posts! |
